Show Me Pizzaz owners Sue Byrd and Molly Fuqua have extensive experience in showing horses, winning and enjoying competitions. Their knowledge of the industry delivers stylish, high-quality horse show apparel unique to the horse show market. Many of their garments and accessories will transition to casual or social events.
It is their mission to deliver affordable, unique garments that speak to the personal style of each presenter. They believe in providing horse show clothing that makes women feel comfortable and confident.
Sue Byrd
Before entering the show arena on her own, Sue spent years assisting her husband Don who showed in the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) and in the Palomino Horse Breeders Association (PHBA). Then in 2001, Sue began showing her PHBA mare Social Starpion (Kitty) in amateur division..
In 2005, Sue entered amateur division with JMK Yella Money, a special horse whose barn name was Pops. He won almost every class he entered and stood Grand Champion at major shows in the country. He was also shown by JoDee Beasley in Open at PHBA and AQHA shows and by Scott Beasley in PHBA Youth Division..
Pops was a two time PHBA World Champion. In 2005 he was awarded first in the nation for PHBA Halter/Color in Open, Youth and Amateur and second in the nation in overall points..
He is remembered as a very special member of Sue and Don’s family since passing away in May, 2006. Pops is also missed by JoDee and Scott Beasley. This is a tribute to Pops!.
During the years of showing, Sue noticed a weakness in show apparel market. She found it difficult to purchase unique pieces of clothing that were affordable and stylish. After she retired from her full time job, time allowed her to decorate garments with sparkling Swarovski crystals for herself and her friends in the show circuit. Now, Sue extends her passion for horses and fashion to all exhibitors in Show Me Pizzaz!.
Molly Fuqua
A love for horses inspired Molly to buy her first horse after her 40th birthday. She quickly joined the show ring and made her PHBA debut. In 2007, she began to show AQHA select.
Molly enjoys showing her horse in western pleasure, and has also shown in halter and showmanship. She passed down the thrill of horses to her son Michael. He has shown in halter, showmanship and western pleasure.
From the time Molly first entered the show ring she designed and sewed her own show clothes. Her clothes soon became a hot commodity and she found herself creating garments for friends. As a partner in Show Me Pizzaz! she uses her creative sewing talent to make stylish comfortable show clothes that inspire confidence for women.
